I have four profiles in my life.
One of my profiles is to work for the Toyota City Hall. This is my main
important profile.
I live in Toyota City, with my wife and both of my parents. I was born
here and I have two sons,
who are both married. They live close to my house in a few minutes by a
car.
I put my family before every thing else. I will go into retirement after
three years.
The second is, I have been taking photographs for more 25 years.
I had aimed to take the landscape of countryside and the festival of a
local area
in the early my photographic time. While I did it, I took photographs of
Toyota City for three years
on other hand. This effort had produced to publish a collection of Hitoshi
Yokokume's photographs
of Toyota City. The other activities could not make a good success of photographs.
I had turning point in my late photographic life. It was a big pleasure
that I changed to take photographs
by digital camera and increased to pleasure to take photographs in my photographic
life.
I have been to Derbyshire as one of member of goodwill photographer's delegation
in 2002.
I used a small digital camera which was sony F707 at that time. When I
returned, I published
the collection of photographs which was taken in Derbyshire that time.
That book was introduced on derby Telegraph in Derby.
by Mario Cacciottolo
The third is, I am a collector of Old Imari porcelain.
I have a long career in collector and make a study of it.
Fortunately, I had a chance that the book of porcelain which has contained
a large part of my collections
was published with famous publishing company in 1994.
Also I was a cowriter.
The fourth is, I had belonged a member of the Japanease Old Map researching
committee
for about ten years. This case, the map means an old illustrated map about
the village in
a late Edo period and it was drawn with hand.
We had resarched the illustrated map of Toyota area in a late Edo period.
Our researching had been printed as a scholarly book in 1996.
I achieved the editing of this book and wrote some papers about the old
maps which were in my care.
